Grammy award nominated hard rock juggernaut Mastodon came together in the late 90s in Atlanta, and have firmly established themselves as one of modern metal's finest, and one more than happy to throw their prog, jazz and glam influences into the mix. With tracks like "Curl of the Burl", "High Road" and "Sultan's Curse" bagging them Grammy nominations and awards, and solidifying their rock status with fans.
With Mastodon's style of multiple heavy metal genres including, alternative metal, sludge metal, groove metal and many more, it has helped position the band as one of the preeminent metal bands of the early 2000s.

Mastodon rocks!
Great show. Lots of energy. Similar to the set list I saw in Denver this spring. Sound was
great and the youngish crowd sang along to the newer stuff. Venue is pretty cool.
Looking forward to other shows there and hopefully a return from the mighty Mastodon!
