The indie darlings tour Painted Ruins

Why See Grizzly Bear?

Painted Ruins Tour

Grizzly Bear return to the fray this year with Painted Ruins, the band's fifth record, and their follow-up to Shields. Weaving together floating harmonies, folk and baroque pop, this Brooklyn four-piece are one of the 00s most acclaimed indie acts, with the differing songwriting styles of member Ed Droste and Daniel Rossen making for an intriguing tension in their music. While their second album Yellow House was a critical hit, 2009's record Veckatimest proved to be a huge step up for the band, with its earwormy lead single 'Two Weeks' introducing them to a whole new audience.

Catch Grizzly Bear playing cuts from Painted Ruins, alongside fan favorites from throughout their career, when they hit Palace Theatre St. Paul in St Paul, MN, December 1, 2017.
